Pediatric Critical Disease Treatment Center
Pediatric Critical Disease Treatment Center is one of the first tier of National Key Clinical Specialty units and also the earliest center for pediatric critical care medicine. The center is made up of NICU, PICU, SICU, CICU and extracorporeal life support. In 2007, the first neonatal ECMO in China was performed by the center, keeping the record of the lowest weight in Asia. At present, 130 patients have been successfully rescued by ECMO technology, in which the survival rate is higher than that of the international ELSO report and the national average level of ECMO in children’s hospitals.
