Clinical expertise includes pneumonia, gastroenteritis, urinary tract infections, lymphadenopathy, fever of unknown origin, EBV infection, CMV infection, exanthematous illnesses, hand, foot and mouth disease, varicella, tuberculosis, pertussis, scarlet fever, and related conditions.



Research Field:

Specialises in paediatric infectious and immune-mediated diseases, integrating clinical practice in diagnosis and management with research on infection-related immune dysregulation and its effects on organ function. Research focuses on defining key mechanisms and actionable therapeutic targets across the “infection–immunity–organ injury” pathway, and on advancing pathogen identification, clinical phenotyping, and precision therapy to improve the diagnosis, prevention, and management of infectious diseases.
