ZCH Rated as the Highest Level for Seven Consecutive Years in China
Recently, the National Health Commission officially released the 2024 national hospital performance monitoring results. As the "gold standard" and "commander" for evaluating the comprehensive strength of hospitals, this national examination covers 2,267 general and specialized hospitals across the country. For the first time, it disclosed the grades of four modules: medical quality, operational efficiency, sustainable development, and satisfaction evaluation. This further refined the guidance for the high-quality development of hospitals, demonstrating the firm direction of the country's deepening medical reform and promoting the connotation construction of hospitals.
In this national assessment, the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine performed outstandingly. Since the launch of the national assessment in 2018, it has continuously remained at the highest level among children’s hospitals for seven consecutive years. Through the continuous efforts of several generations, it has demonstrated the benchmark strength in pediatric medicine in China.
As the first batch of hospitals in the country and the first in the Yangtze River Delta to have both the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Children and Adolescents and the National Children's Regional Medical Center, the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University has always been guided by the principle of "for the health of children". It leads the country in areas such as critical newborn rescue, birth defect prevention, and high-precision and innovative pediatric technology.
