Clinical Interests:

clinical work focuses on pediatric endocrine diseases, including disorders of the thyroid and adrenal glands, diabetes, and abnormalities in growth and development such as obesity, short stature, and precocious puberty. She has a particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of rare bone and mineral metabolic disorders and various congenital bone diseases. She manages several rare disease cohorts, including patients with hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism(PHP), X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH), osteogenesis imperfecta, achondroplasia, and type II collagenopathies. Additionally, she/he chairs the hospital's Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) for Pediatric Bone Metabolism and Growth.



Research Field:

research interests include the study of genotypes and phenotypes of congenital bone diseases in children, as well as the genetic background and screening of type 1 diabetes. She worked as a visiting scientist in Genetic and Genomics Dep. Boston Children’s Hospital during August, 2018 to August, 2019. She has got eight research projects including 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China, led multiple national multi-center studies, authored five national consensus statements and guidelines, and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers.
