The Tenth Visit from NICU in Loma Linda University Children's Hospital
1、Is it not pleasant to have friends coming from distant quarters?
Although far away from each other, the NICU team from the Loma Linda University visited our hospital for tenth time this year. The members of the delegation were: Prof. Douglas Deming, former Chef of NICU, Prof. Elba Fayard, Chef of NICU, and Dr. Bradley Cacho, attending doctor of NICU in Loma Lima University Children's Hospital. Profound in friendship, their visit must help our hospital a lot.

In the conference room in ZUCH, Prof. Shu Qiang, the President of our hospital, watched the live broadcast of the 70th anniversary military parade in the meeting room in Binjiang Campus with four foreign guests. During this period, Prof. Shu introduced the great progress we have made in the past 70 years. In respond to the introduction from Prof. Shu, Prof. Fayard waved the small red flag in her hands and said that “I love China, and thanks for your warmly welcome.” As an old friend of us, Prof. Deming also showed his astonishment: “It is amazing that your country has changed so much in just 70 years. What's more, the variation in your hospital is also extremely large in the 12 years.”
3、Efficiency comes from diligence.
During the three-week exchange study, the two NICU team members were already very familiar with each other. They came to NICU on time every morning to make rounds and observed each patient very carefully, especially for the difficult and critical cases.
What's more, Prof. Deming and Prof. Fayard gave a number of special lectures to the clinical staff in NICU to share them the newest information from their hospital and Dr. Cacho made a case report almost meticulously every day, making full use of the clinical resources of our hospital.
