Moganshan Campus of ZUCH Officially Settled in Deqing

On April 14, the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and the People's Government of Deqing County signed a framework agreement to select a site in the Smart Eco-City of Deqing County to jointly build a high-level national children's medical center (Moganshan Campus).

Wu Zhaohui, President of Zhejiang University, Wang Gang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee as well as the Acting Mayor of the Huzhou Municipal, and Ma Weihang, a first-level inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches. Framework Cooperation Agreement was signed by Shu Qiang, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, and Ao Yuxin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.

According to the agreement, the two parties will adhere to the principle of "complementary strengths and common development"to carry out cooperation in medical services. The Moganshan Campus will be built into a high-level national children's medical center integrating pediatric medicine, teaching and research into an international standard, becoming a model for comprehensive and full-cycle high-quality child health services in China, as well as a model for pediatric talent training.

As one of the three major campuses of the hospital, the Moganshan Campus will be homogeneously and integratedly managed by ZUCH. It will be constructed on a scale of 800 beds, mainly including the National Children's Regional Medical Center, National Clinical Research Center for Child Health, Children's Emergency Public Health Emergency Center and National Pediatric Teaching and Training Center, with a total construction area of 240,000 square meters.

This will help to significantly alleviate the shortage of pediatric medical resources in the area. It is a major livelihood project that will benefit East China, Zhejiang and Deqing, and will also help attract more high-level talents and industries to settle in Deqing and take root in Deqing.

The hospital actively plays the role of pediatric medical center in the whole province. The scope of services not only covers children in the province, but also covers the whole territory of Zhejiang Province and surrounding provinces and cities, especially the 6 provinces and 1 city in East China, and radiates the whole country.
